Nick Chen
Hi, my name is Nicholas Chen. I am a student at the University of Kansas, studying sports management and journalism. I am originally from Richmond, VA, have spent time in central Jersey, ultimately landing here in Lawrence, KS.
While I am new to journalism, I am very passionate about sports reporting and media. Previous studies in the Health, Sports, & Exercise Science department at KU have helped me develop skills in physical and mental health, nutrition, observational skills, and documenting them.
In my free time, I watch and play sports, lift weights, and read sports biographies. Growing up I have played basketball, hockey, and most recently lacrosse.
